MOCHILA Project Participates in EDUINNOVAMED 2025

On April 2, 2025, Dr. César Lozano Díaz from the Department of Mathematics and Physics at ITESO (Jesuit University of Guadalajara) took part in the Semana de la Innovación e Investigación en Docencia: EDUINNOVAMED 2025 (Innovation and Research in Teaching Week), organized by the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Chile. During this event, he delivered the talk “Implementation of Neural Networks for Cancer Prediction,” in which he discussed the use of artificial intelligence in clinical contexts, with an emphasis on deep learning models applied to medical imaging.

During his presentation, Dr. Lozano also briefly introduced the MOCHILA Project, highlighting the line of work led by ITESO focused on developing microcourses in artificial intelligence. This dissemination effort was part of broader actions aimed at raising awareness of the project and fostering collaboration among higher education institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
